One of my favorite places when visiting Rochester. Seasonal menu, fresh and delicious. Not afraid of creating new dishes or revamping classic and gotta say they do it quite well. One of the best cocktail menus too! And the service? Always great. Did I expect the lamb tagine to be a shank? Yes. But was I disappointed? Only a little bit because every spoonful of the lamb and coscous was so good.

Easily one of the best restaurant’s in Rochester! The service was top tier! The wait staff was super attentive, knowledgeable and very efficient. Since this was an anniversary dinner we tried several different cocktails from the menu, all were excellent! I highly recommend the 32oz Rib eye, Chicory salad, Cacio e Pepe (pasta dish) to name a few. We will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful food! The majority of the menu is meant for sharing. Every single dish that we ordered for the table was delicious. They have a handful of dishes that are meant as entrees, and we tried a couple of those as well. Also very good. Try the burger! Maybe the best burger I've ever had.

I have not had this much good food for a while. Awesome food, excellent service, talk easy and chill ambience. Food Beets 9/10 Squash Kobucha 9/10 Sicilian Pizza 10/10 Pate 6/10 Spinach Crutee 10/10 Oxtail Ragout 10/10 Smokehouse Wings 4/10 Good Luck Burger 7/10 Steak 10/10

Champagne, that’s the word to keep in mind at Good Luck. They have some truly exceptional bottles at fair prices you must try. The sommelier is on top of his game and can help anyone from a total newbie to a pro find a great experience. The 1lb burger and fries (which serves 4!) seemed to be what this place is most known for. Yet - we stayed to the smallest plates and found our favorite dish was that with small tomatoes! The points of importance that could improve the experience: - it’s very loud inside, despite ceiling sound panels and could use some additional sound absorption concepts. - it’s not easy to find the entrance from the parking lot if you don’t know where you are. A sign with an arrow or description could help! - desert options could use another look… something small and exciting like a lemon posset or a small simple decadent dark chocolate cake. I’ve always been impressed by the Rochester restaurant scene as among the best of any mid-sized American city. This is a spot to try!

Good Luck Restaurant has a truly one-of-a-kind vibe—classy, cool, and laid back all at the same time. The food is incredibly unique and packed with flavor, making it a great choice for birthday celebrations, date nights, or simply enjoying time at a stylish bar. The shared, family-style dishes add to the fun and create a memorable dining experience. During our visit, the courses arrived very quickly, which made the meal feel a bit rushed, and it took a little longer than expected to receive our bill and finalize payment. Even with that, the overall experience was excellent for the price, and the flavors were unforgettable. We will and have definitely returned for another visit!!

We loved the food here! The pizza, steak, and smoked chicken wings were absolutely delicious. The service was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive. The entire dining experience was SO enjoyable!

We really enjoyed our experience at Good Luck Restaurant. The atmosphere is effortlessly stylish—classy yet relaxed—and perfect for a date night, celebration, or an evening out with friends. The menu features creative, flavorful dishes served family-style, which makes the meal both interactive and memorable. Our courses came out very quickly, so the dining pace felt slightly rushed at first, and the checkout process took a bit of time afterward. Despite that, the food was outstanding and truly unforgettable. Overall, it was a great experience for the value, and we would happily dine here again.

I came here for my 35th birthday not knowing what to expect, and left convinced this is the best restaurant I've visited since moving to the city. My supervisor recommended this place when I asked for a nice dining options for my birthday. The kind of place that makes you feel good about wherever you've landed. The fregola, that tiny Sardinian pasta swimming in a bright green pea broth with what looked like shrimp and fresh herbs, was the dish of the night. Elegant and deeply satisfying at the same time, which is harder to pull off than it sounds. The braised ox tail stew with charred bread was hearty and complex, the kind of thing you want on a Rochester evening. And they sent out birthday desserts with candles, a chocolate slice with a dark chocolate drizzle and what appeared to be a frozen cream, a genuinely sweet touch that didn't feel perfunctory. I'll be honest: the lamb sausage wasn't for me. Beautifully plated with fingerling potatoes and microgreens, but the flavor profile just didn't land the way the other dishes did. One miss in an otherwise strong meal isn't a complaint. It's useful information. The space, the pacing, the care in the cooking. Good Luck earns its reputation. I left a very generous tip to the very attentive waiter.

Great meal and environment. Plates are meant to share, so fun way to try different dishes. Chicken os delicious (normally never order chicken out) skin was crisp, well seasoned and very tender, sauce was not overwhelming. All other dishes were just as flavorful. Will definitely be back.
